IW-184 wood dining chair is created in 2020, the compact Ginger armchair blends gentle contours with a comfortable, contemporary design. Inspired by the bulbous stem of the medicinal ginger plant, the upholstered armchair is solidly built without appearing heavy.
A slight bend on the upper part of the chair legs pays homage to its signature wood-bending technique. The upholstered backrest and armrests are made from a single piece of pressed plywood, creating a neat and compact unit.
Besides, this dining chair is defined by an external line that bounces between the armrest and the back, identifying as the origin of the perimeter arches, the four legs made with a careful work of cabinet-making; they taper towards the ground giving lightness to the upholstered shell while, the soft and connected sections of the upholstery, make the product a piece of immediate and iconic design.
